Hardanger Music Festival - a dream come true...

Hardanger, on the west coast of Norway, is widely known for it's scenic beauty. People travel from far and wide to experience the flowering and the fjords.

The Hardanger Music Festival is a different music festival, featuring top level artists in a unique and majestic, yet intimate setting. The performances are taking place at different scenic locations along the fjord, some of them reached by boat.

The program presents a wide artistic variety, from folk music, chamber music and symphonic music to ballet and jazz, but with particular emphasis on chamber music.
